Using this site

You may read this site and share links to it. Please do not copy substantial parts of it as your own, or try to break or misuse it. The words, photographs and design here belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us.

Applying is not a contract

Sending the application form does not create a coaching agreement or oblige either of us to go ahead. We read every application and only take on people we believe we can genuinely help. Coaching starts when we have agreed the plan and the price in writing and the first payment has been made.

What coaching is

Coaching is guidance, structure and accountability: a training plan, nutrition targets, check-ins and adjustments. It depends on you doing the work. We cannot and do not guarantee a specific result, weight, body-fat percentage or timescale, because the outcome depends on your consistency, your sleep, your stress, your genetics and your circumstances. Anyone promising you a guaranteed number is guessing.

This is not medical advice

We are coaches, not doctors or registered dietitians. Nothing on this site or in your plan is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for it.

Speak to your doctor before starting any new training or nutrition programme, and especially if you are pregnant, have an injury, an eating disorder or a history of one, a heart condition, diabetes, or any other medical condition, or if you take prescribed medication. Tell us about anything relevant before we build your plan, and tell us if it changes. If something hurts, stop and get it looked at.

Supplements

Any supplement we mention is optional and general information, not a prescription. Check the label, check it is legal where you live, and check with a pharmacist or doctor if you take medication or have a condition. We are not responsible for supplements you choose to take.

The calorie calculator

The calculator on this site gives a rough estimate from population averages. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a personalised target, and it should not be relied on as one.

Payments and cancelling

Coaching is paid in advance for the agreed period. Because a plan is written specifically for you and our time is committed to you for that period, payments already made are not refundable once coaching has started, other than where the law gives you a right to a refund.

Coaching runs for the full period you have paid for. We do not pause or freeze coaching part way through, so please be sure the timing works for you before you start. If your circumstances change we will adapt the plan around them, which is what the weekly check-ins are for, but the period itself keeps running.

You can stop at the end of any paid period by telling us before it renews. We may end coaching ourselves, and refund the unused part, if the arrangement is not working or if continuing would not be safe or appropriate for you.

Your plan is yours to use, not to share

Your training and nutrition plan is written for you. Please do not resell it, publish it, or pass it to someone else to follow, both because it was built around your circumstances and because it is our work.

Photos and testimonials

We will never publish your photographs, results or words without asking you first, and you can withdraw that permission at any time and we will take them down.

Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Beyond that, training carries inherent risk and you take part at your own risk. We are not liable for injury, illness or loss arising from following a plan where you have not told us something relevant about your health, or where you have trained through pain, ignored form guidance, or changed the plan on your own.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
